Day 48 Showcase Flower Room

Showcase Flower Room

The plants entered Week 7 of flowering (days 42-49). Everyday the room is smelling better and better. 8 strains and 8 unique aromas. The size and structure of each strain's flower is also unique and becoming very noticeable.

The variety in Cannabis genetics is simply quite amazing and one of the reasons we love this plant so much. The Grape MOB #1 will be harvested at around 47 days while the Lemon Berry Candy and Headband Cookies will take 70-77 days to finish ripening before harvest. Most of the other strains in the room will fall somewhere in between for finishing time.

The work in this room is still removing fan leaves and adjusting irrigation as needed. It is a joy to spend time in this room.

F0A Flower Room

After a thorough job of cleaning and sterilizin, F0A was reloaded with plants on Wednesday. The plants are so big from an extra week of vegetative growth that the room was put directly into flower. The plants are so tall and lanky that they immediately needed to be trellised. The fact that they are so lanky made the trellising of the first layer a slow and methodical process so as not to snap any tops or branches. The effort was worth it as the plants have all adjusted nicely and they are growing and looking healthy. This room has all new strains never grown before at Small Batch. The strains are:

  • Pink Panther 99 (Pink Panther x Cindy 99)

  • Pablo’s Driver (Pablo’s Revenge x Devil Driver)

  • Diesel Cuban Black Haze (Diesel x Cuban Black Haze)

  • Mystery Gary (Gary Payton x ?)

There was also a change to the Micro Batch strains. Anaphylaxis (Peanut Butter Breath x Deadly Sativa) was added and the Trainwreck Afghani was removed to be trialed at a later date.

The big event this week was getting the plants for F0A moved. Other than that the room was mostly just watered and maintained this week. The room is due for a big pruning which will happen in the oncoming week. Also next week will begin propagation for the next round in the Showcase Room which is always exciting. More new strains to come!
